EE has just launched the UK’s first next generation 5G mobile network. 5G mobile networks will offer much faster downloads to customers. At first, the service will be limited to the following areas: Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London and Manchester. Here we will look at the average sale and rental prices for the aforementioned areas.

For sale properties:

The average sale price for a property on the market in Belfast is £177,301 and the average time on market is 170 days.

The average sale price for a property on the market in Birmingham is £278,163 and the average time on market is 119 days.

The average sale price for a property on the market in Cardiff is £227,426 and the average time on market is 137 days.

The average sale price for a property on the market in Edinburgh is £264,413 and the average time on market is 81 days.

The average sale price for a property on the market in Inner London is £985,750 and the average time on market is 170 days.

The average sale price for a property on the market in Manchester is £225,748 and the average time on market is 121 days.

Not surprisingly, Inner London has the dearest average sale price for a property on the market, while Belfast has the longest average time for a property on the market. Belfast also has the lowest average sale price for a property on the market.  Edinburgh has the lowest average time on market.

Rental Market Properties:

Rental market properties in Belfast are on the market for an average price of £653pcm and the average time on the market is 102 days.

Rental market properties in Birmingham are on the market for an average price of £947pcm and the average time on the market is 97 days.

Rental market properties in Cardiff are on the market for an average price of £923pcm and the average time on the market is 110 days.

Rental market properties in Edinburgh are on the market for an average price of £1,122pcm and the average time on the market is 61 days.

Rental market properties in Inner London are on the market for an average price of £3,103pcm and the average time on the market is 97 days.

Rental market properties in Manchester are on the market for an average price of £1,036pcm and the average time on the market is 113 days.

Rental properties on the market follow suit, with Inner London having the highest rental prices, while Manchester has the longest average time for a property on the market. A similar pattern can be found for the lowest average rental price belonging to Belfast and the shortest time on market is in Edinburgh.
