Following our recent work with The Sunday Times and Habito, looking at the Best Places to Live 2019, we've joined forces again this week to contribute our data to a further feature, this time looking at the best places to purchase a property for first-time buyers in the UK.

Leading the way at the top of the list is Reading. This Berkshire town is one of Britain's biggest and set to expand further with development in full-swing including a spacious new boardwalk for dining and shopping as well as a rise of new-build homes. Reading has an average starter home price of £325,000.
